To develop self-esteem, To gain a positive outlook on the future, To decrease unhealthy habits and behaviors, To develop time-management skills and battle procrastination , We need to set goals for our future Plans.
For this, there are two questions to be asked to self to achieve our goals. They are
1.How do you choose your Goal ?
Connect your goal with your talents, values, and aspirations. •Your goal should represent an important accomplishment to you. •Choose a goal that you have the power to reach but requires effort. •If you cannot answer the question “How will you know when you achieve the goal?” then the goal is too vague. •Studies have found that at-risk any individual can be helped most by short-term, realistic goals that help to increase confidence and avoid failure.
2.How Do You Accomplish Your Goal?
•You have to decide what you want first of all. •The problem with so many people is that they do not know what they really want. In other words they are not at all clear about what they want in life. •Setting your goals, needs you to make a decision about that which you want, and determine when you want to have achieved that thing. •In other words you must put a deadline to what you currently want. Get clear about what you want. Have a good plan of attack.
This two set of self questioning ,will lead us with clarity, for achievement of goals.
